Normcore 58mm Convex Billet Basket Kit, 18g, 5832mm, 0.28mm Holes

Convex Geometry. A Different Approach to Resistance. The Normcore Convex Billet Basket introduces a fundamentally different extraction regime inside a standard 58mm portafilter.By reducing the internal diameter, the basket creates a deeper, higheraspectratio puck that generates resistance through geometry rather than relying on finer grind sizes. This allows baristas to grind coarser while maintaining controlled flow helping reduce fines, bitterness, and harsh flavor notes.Designed for modern espresso techniques such as lowflow and blooming extractions, the Convex Billet Basket promotes even saturation for clarity, sweetness, and improved balance in the cup.Precision CNCmachined, it delivers consistent performance for home enthusiasts and professionals seeking greater control over extraction variables.Tech Notes : Stepped geometry increases puck depth, generating resistance through shape rather than fine grinding. Designed for coarser grind settings while maintaining controlled flow. Reduced fines production helps lower bitterness and harshness. Supports lowflow and bloomingstyle extractions. Best results with 18g dose. Target flow rate: ~1 ml/s (excluding preinfusion).THE SET INCLUDES:1 Convex Billet Portafilter Basket1 0.8mm Puck Screen200 Filter paper
